MCI has completed several projects including those shown on this web page. Prior to starting MCI both Richard and considerable construction management experience working for the firm Burns & McDonnell and serving six years as project managers on the Kansas City International
Airport Terminal Buildings Renovation Project and many other projects. See Richard's resume here. The following project list demonstrates the diverse abilities and experience within the MCI team.
This project included the construction of a New Public Works building for the City of Warrensburg, Missouri. This building has an energy efficient design with all electric heat pump, extra building insulation, building “Tyvek” wrap and insulated glass windows.
A refreshing renovation and expansion to an outdated community pool area has created a fun, multi-purpose water park with the modern twists and turns of a new slide tower feature, a very popular lazy river, Zero-depth entrance wading pool with nineteen interactive features including an Aqua Arch, Mushroom Maze, Over N Under, a Pop Drop, and a large, interactive play feature with a tipping bucket.
Design and construction began in August 2008 and through considerable effort, opened on time Memorial Day 2009. Project was delivered on time, in budget, as planned.
A new modern look and efficient working conditions are the goals for the renovation of the City Hall. The effectual design of space and the proficient procurement of the contractors, materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment will provide the City’s staff with a current and functional atmosphere.
The first phase (Fire Department Remodel) is now complete. Project came in ahead of schedule and under budget. The design of Phases 2 and 3 is underway. Project is scheduled for completion by Christmas 2010.

This building is probably the most energy efficient building in Warrensburg, Missouri. With its energy star windows and appliances, high efficiency heat pump, R23 blown in wall insulation and R50 insulated attic it doesn’t get much more “green” than this. The buildings exterior is nearly maintenance free. Additionally, this building was value engineered to achieve $86/sq. ft. at prevailing wage rate.
